About the Facility
Golden Age is a residential assisted living home. We provide supervision, personal and directed care services to senior citizens looking for an intimate home setting. Our home is tailored to helping the elderly who need assistance with activities of daily living, those that are limited in their ability to live independently, or those that simply require around the clock supervision.
We offer peace of mind to families looking for a professional, competent, and caring facility to look after their loved one. We specialize in a broad array of care services including providing home cooked meals, housekeeping services, helping residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), we assist residents with their medication management and administration, and much more. With our knowledge and experience, we are adept in caring for residents suffering from conditions such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Diabetes, those on Hospice, and others.
About Gladys: Manager/Registered Nurse
I have worked in the Healthcare industry for over 20 years in different capacities as a Supervisor, Nurse Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing and Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Nurse. I have worked and managed a variety of healthcare facilities, both private and in government.
I have an extensive background in working with and taking care of Dementia patients, Hospice patients and medical patients with co-mobilities. Taking care of seniors has become my passion which led me to open Golden Age Assisted Living Home.
In 2024, I received my Managers Certification from the Arizona Board of Nursing Care Institution Administrators and Assisted Living Facility Managers. This training helped me further expand my knowledge into state regulations, inspection procedures, medication management and administration as well as overall requirements to ensure safety and comfortable living conditions for seniors.
